Career Experience

Nurse before Doctor 😉

Vice President of Programs

Coach, Consultant, & Speaker

Dr. Diane Swanson was a nurse before she became a doctor. She worked in nursing for 18 years as a registered nurse and a nurse educator. In 2003, she left her nursing career to found, lead, and pastor the Home of Hope, a Teen Challenge of Arizona faith-based, 12-month, residential recovery program for women, women and their young children, and pregnant women. Diane says that her ten years working directly with women with some of the deepest hurts and addictions was where she experienced the power of spiritual weapons over darkness and the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit for personal transformation.

Diane joined Global Teen Challenge in 2013 where she served as the Vice President of Programs and coached leaders and teams around the globe. She assisted the worldwide Adult and Teen Challenge network through business and ministry coaching, program and sustainability development, provided programmatic resources, and much more.

Today, Diane uses her decades of program development experience, spiritual formation expertise, and leadership coaching to assist leaders to create programs and ministries specific to the needs of their clients for transformational outcomes. Diane knows how to create an organizational culture to optimize the client's success in achieving freedom in Christ.
